HK MR556A1 75th Anniversary Semi-Auto Rifle

A direct descendant of the world-famous HK416, the HK® MR556A1 75th Anniversary Semi-Auto Rifle developed by Heckler & Koch as a premium-grade commercial variant of it's select-fire military cousin. The MR556A1 uses a proprietary HK closed gas piston operating system that virtually eliminates malfunctions commonly found in direct-impingement gas systems, and yield much cooler, cleaner, lower-maintenance operation. This is the same key feature critical to the success of the HK416 used by elite military and law enforcement worldwide. The MR556A1 is assembled using US and German-made components. The MR556 uses many of the same parts and assemblies developed for and employed in the HK416. It functions reliably and accurately under the most extreme conditions with a wider range of 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington ammunition than any other commercial AR-platform rifle. As HK celebrates its 75th Anniversary, there is a very limited opportunity to own a piece of history in the form of this specially finished MR556A1 rifle Cerakoted in the Flecktarn or Tropentarn camo finish of Germany's armed forces, the Bundeswehr. The Bundeswehr has fielded a wide array of HK weapons uninterrupted since arming the West German Army with the G3 in the 1950s, and there is no longer or more valued relationship in HK's history. Exactly 250 of these kits will be produced. The rifle is tastefully and discreetly laser engraved with HK's 75th Anniversary logo, packed in a custom-fitted quality polymer hard case, containing four 30-round magazines, a finished-alike HK fixed blade combat knife, and a 75th Anniversary challenge coin.
