The Henry Big Boy® Brass Side Gate Carbine Lever Action Rifle offers features found in Henry's legendary Big Boy Rifle while maintaining a compact, lighter profile. Save almost a full pound and navigate through tighter spaces with the 16.5" blued steel octagonal barrel, which still maintains excellent proficiency in accuracy. This lever-action comes in at 7.76 lbs and with an overall length of 35". This rifle features large loop lever for rapid manipulation even when gloves are worn. A side-loading gate allows you to keep your rifle shouldered while loading. The traditional magazine allows you to load both ways. The straight-grip stock and forearm are shaped from American walnut and accented with a polished-brass barrel band as well as Henry's signature hardened-brass receiver. As always, the rifle features a smooth action and crisp, clean trigger.
