Thompson/Center Maxi-Hunter Muzzleloader Bullets
Thompson/Center® Maxi-Hunter® Muzzleloader Bullets incorporate all the features of the world-famous Maxi-Ball®, superb accuracy and easy loading, with the added benefit of enhanced terminal ballistics on deer-sized game. Maxi-Hunter muzzleloader bullets are pre-lubed with Natural Lube 1000 plus Bore Butter™, eliminating the need to wipe the bore clean between shots. These bullets have a solid base, lubricating grooves, and a slight hollow point.

Effective bulletOk accuracy in T/C omega on 90 grains of triple 7. Shot elk at 65 yards in the lungs. Recovered after running about 75 yards. Substantial internal damage.

Bullet provides consistent groupsI used these, after a recommendation from my brother, in my RMC flintlock and found I could shoot very consistent groups at 50 yards and then at 100 yards. These will be the only ones I use from now on.

Nice shooting bullets...I've used these for several hunts. I use a Traditions Mountaineer. For those who don't know it's a traditional muzzleloader. They have been very accurate. However, I haven't killed anything with them yet.

Maxi-HunterWas having trouble with accuracy at 100yds with the powerbelts and plastic sabot cup rounds. Friend recommended the Maxi-Hunter and what a difference! I'm running these with 90 - 100 grains of powder/Triple Seven pellets and hitting a 1/4 inch group at 100yds w/ a 3 x 9 scope. No patch just powder / round with a barrel swab ever 3-5 rounds fired. Love these rounds and will use from now on! Good Hunting!

best purchase everI have used the thompson center maxi sabot in my .50 caliber thompson center tradition and my cva optimal magnum. I have no trouble sighting in either muzzleloader with this round. I sighted them in at 100 yrds and I can hold a very tight shot group. I have shot multible deer with this round and everyone has dropped right where they were. Last year I shot a deer around 100 yrds and I pulled the shot on the deer toward the rear of it and it still dropped the deer where it stood. It even blew the guts out the other side. Great pentration. No animal stands a chance with this round.a must buy

no accuracytook just 3 shots at 25 yards, made an adjustment on my scope after the first shot figured I was good. The next shot was off a foot and a half, made no adjustments and the next shot was two feet off from that. This is all at 25 yards shooting from a rest, not happy.
