Q&A
As seen on the TV show, "One More Cast" featuring Shaw Grigsby. The Strike King® Rocket Shadâ„¢ is built for speed. You can cast it farther, retrieve it faster and cover more water than ever before. It is the perfect schooling fish lure and a great drop bait too. This lure runs perfectly in fast current conditions which makes it a terrific below-the-dam lure. Perfectly imitates the most common baitfish - the shad. Many different species of fish are attracted to it.

Great Search Tool WOWI bought this basically because it was cheap and I needed a small lure. oMG WOW - I was throwing a rage craw and getting short hit all day, it was making me mental. I said what the heck let's give this 1/4 yellow shad a go. First cast boom LMB, next cast a croppie....I was like what the heck is going on here.
This would be my 3rd complete fishing trip using this lure and I now tie it to my backup rod and keep it at the ready in my kayak rod holder. As soon as I get a nibble or miss a strike I throw my rocket shad in the same pocket and it 99% of the time will get hit and almost always lands. Slow is the best for me I have found. Buy one of these and use it, trust me I am not a great fisherman and this Shad is so easy a caveman can do it. Just toss it at the shore and slow reel it back. They seem to want to look at it because they hit it halfway back to the boat.

The BIG Little Spinner!I have all 3 colors in 3/8. These are awesome! I love how far they cast and that they have a closed eye at the bend making for easier tie offs or using snaps. You can work these just like any safety pin spinner to catch nice fish. Sometimes the smaller lure presentation is all it takes when the bite is stubborn.

Great for spinning tackle!Use on spinning tackle when larger spinnerbaits are not producing due to too clear water and/or heavy fishing pressure.

Cast far reels in fastThis spinner bait cast very far and reels in fast. At a half ounce it has the size of a much smaller spinner bait which works well at the lakes and river I fish at. The only bad thing is the double hook in the back is sometimes difficult to get out of the basses lip.

Great BaitDon't let the small profile of this bait fool you it catches quality fish, I like to fish it around offshore structure and around bluff walls
Thank you for the question. There are many great spinner baits available depending on your location, intended species, as well as the time and water conditions.
