Simms RiverTek 2 Boa Wading Boots for Men - Gunmetal
Giving you reliable performance with fast adjustability, RiverTek® 2 Boa® Wading Boots for men from Simms® make it easier for you to enjoy your favorite fishing stream. Providing long-lasting durability and protection, this boot combines waterproof synthetic leather, scratch rubber, and molded TPU skid plates in high wear areas to give anglers durable, easy to clean uppers. A CleanStream™ design, these performance uppers also feature minimal exposed stitching for unwanted organisms to latch onto for transport to another waterway. A sure fit without pressure points comes from the boot's Boa Lacing System, a specialized design you operate with just one hand. Partial neoprene linings inside the boot provide warmth and cushioning, as well as making the boot easier to slip on or off. Built on the StreamTread™ platform, the RiverTek 2 Boa delivers comfort and performance in and out of the water. This specialized base combines a die-cut, full coverage TPU retention plate for rigidity and cleat retention with cushioning EVA midsoles for all day wading comfort. Molded TPU heel clips on top of the midsoles hold your heel in place and provide lateral stability for wading security, while the die-cut footbeds on top provide soft, cushioning comfort. Molded Vibram® Idrogrip® rubber outsoles feature 3 mm multi-directional lugs for great slip resistance on slick streambeds. Average weight per pair: 59.2 oz. Imported. Manufacturer style #: 10929.

Simms is working to keep our waterways, and the fish that live in them, healthy for now and in the future. Many Simms products now feature CleanStream technology design. This new design philosophy uses materials and production techniques that make it more difficult for dangerous micro-organisms to attach to wading gear and makes the gear easier to properly clean. Simms is also working with other fishing industry companies and conservation organizations to develop a certification process to highlight gear designed to help prevent the spread of aquatic nuisance species (ANS) and disease and keep the world's waterways safe and healthy.

Working as advertisedThe boots are light weight and slide on with ease. The boa works well and so far has not been a problem. One week of moderate stream fishing completed. Spare laces and gears are on hand for backup.

Nice Wading BootI purchased these boots, because I felt like I could never get my wading boots with traditional laces tight enough. The Boa lacing system in these boots take care of that problem. The boots can easily be tighten to your needs by simply turning the dial. The are easily loosen by pulling the dial out. Make getting in and out of the boots very easy.
I have read some complaints about the Boa lacing system breaking. Nothing is built to last forever. With some research, you will see that replacing the laces are as easy as traditional laces. The boots are backed by the Simms lifetime warranty and the Boa company also has a lifetime warranty on the laces. I recently visited Boa's website and the warranty replacement was very easy to complete online.
The sole of the boot also has pre-drilled holes allowing easy installment of spikes.
This is a great boot and I don't think I will ever go back to traditional laces again.
Thank you for choosing Bass Pro Shops. Unfortunately, we are out of stock on the sizes that aren’t showing online.

Should I purchase a size larger than my regular show size?
Do the listed sizes already allow for a neoprene wader sock?

I wear a size 11 1/2 and I purchased the size 13 boot. I wear waders that have neoprene booties, which can be very tight in a boot. I can say that they fit just fine with the size I chose. Anything smaller in boot size would have been too tight.

What is the warranty on these? Is it a lifetime warranty?
I have seen other Simms wading boots that have lifetime warranty and wondered if this was applied to these as well.
