Scott Archery Talon Bow Release
The straightest shooting hook-style release from Scott Archery®, the Talon Bow Release's superior design delivers 100% hook clearance every time for extreme accuracy and tunability. Giving bowhunters the fast, no-look loading of a string loop release, the Talon also reduces string loop torque with its TrueCenter inline design. Offering more tension adjustment than any other Scott release, this auto-cock design features a single sear trigger with fully-adjustable trigger and travel adjustment for a clean, "no travel" break and greater accuracy. Forward positioned, knurled trigger maximizes draw length. Torque-free fall away connector keeps the release out of your way until it's shooting time, making it easier to stick your hands in your pockets or grabbing a call from your pack. 9 different length adjustments.

One of the best hook style releasesOkay, this is one of the best hook style releases on the market. It feels good on the wrist, I've used it for hunting and just getting out and doing some 3D shooting with it. I had a silver horn which is basically what the Talon is, and I ended up giving it to someone that needed a release and I just went searching for me another one and came by the Talon. I have a carter wise choice and a silverback that was custom designed by pro archer John Dudley that I strictly use for 3D shooting and I use the wrist wrap style release for hunting. so what I'm saying was, I gave my old silver horn away and upgraded to this bad boy and so far so good. I've shot several other hook style releases (spott Hogg wiseguy, tru Fire hardcore etc.) and this is by far my favorite other than the silver horn and I honestly don't think any other wrist wrap release will come close to the silver horn. I've always been a big Scott archery person and I love how you can really adjust your release for your own liking (trigger travel, trigger tension, custom lengths for different hands) I shoot all of my releases using back tension because I feel more accurate that way, so it works very well for me. oh well, I know I've rambled on and on, but just know that the Talon is a pricy release, but I promise you that you won't go wrong with this and it's a great investment for an average Joe archer and even better for a hardcore bowhunter that prefers the hook style type release.
