Lightweight, compact, and easy to start, the Mercury® 9.9hp EFI Tiller FourStroke Command Thrust Outboard Motor 20" Shaft has the power you need to explore remote lakes and hit your favorite fishing spots with friends aboard. Thanks to precise Mercury engineering, this motor's battery-free, electronic fuel injection (EFI) technology starts it up with ease all kinds of outdoor conditions. To keep your battery charged up and ready to perform, this engine comes equipped with a class-leading, 12A alternator. It also features an easy electric start and a manual start in case it's needed. Extra thrust is provided by a larger propeller and an oversized gear case with a lower gear ratio. For boat control, this motor offers forward and reverse shifting in the throttle grip on the tiller, and a ratcheting tilt transom bracket is easy to adjust. Like all Mercury outboard motors, the EFI delivers outstanding power and fuel efficiency. Saltwater safe components and corrosion-resistant technologies ensure longevity in harsh environments. Easy oil change system for hassle-free maintenance. Includes propeller and 3.2-gal. remote fuel tank.
