The Gregory Targhee 45 Daypack is a great all-around pack for adventures in the snow, small enough for single-day treks and large enough to handle overnighters. The anodized aluminum hardware delivers durability, plus it functions well in cold weather. This Gregory daypack boasts a 1,000-denier Cordura® nylon front diagonal edge guard panel for durability that stands up to metal edges, while reinforced webbing loops along with front straps and aluminum hooks let you carry your skis, snowboard, or snowshoes with ease. This Gregory backpack has a quick-access avalanche-safety pocket with secure probe and shovel sleeves. A deployable helmet-carry system includes adjustable hook-and-loop straps to keep your helmet secure. An HDPE frame sheet and steel alloy wire frame provide stability, and the VertFlex suspension with anti-barreling cross stay adds torsional flexibility. Padded shoulder straps boast a sternum strap that includes a built-in safety whistle. The hip belt includes a convenient pocket and gear loop with ice clipper attachment points. The U-zip back panel allows easy loading and unloading, while the compression-molded back panel sheds snow for dry comfort. A front ice-tool attachment includes a durable aluminum toggle system and protected pick sleeve for navigating frozen slopes, and the Targhee has both side and top compression straps for tacking on extra gear. A dedicated internal sleeve for a hydration reservoir (not included) has a buckle hanger system, hose port, and hose-routing loops. Finished with molded zipper pulls and a double-layer bottom panel.
