Don't leave in sunI left them out in the sun on my boat and they melted. They are cheap, but if you keep them out of the sun they are fine.

Terrible!Don't waste any money on these. After the third cast the bobbers fill with water...kind of defeats the purpose.

Cheap in price, Great in performanceThese floats are exactly what i need for fishing for snook and bass in the canals around my house, just use live shiners or bream under these and wait for the bobbers to go down. for bass and snook, i use the 2 - 2 1/2" bobbers

ProblematicSure they don't cost much but there's a real design flaw with these bobbers. Because they clip on the fishing line top and bottom with flimsy metal hooks and the line curves around the side of the bobber, pulling your fishing line tight will cause the bobber to pop off. Expect to lose this float fighting a large fish or during a hard cast with a heavy sinker. I can make these things pop off every-time by just by grabbing the line above and below the bobber and pulling my hands away from each other.
Also, if the bobber is submerged underwater for any period of time it will leak at the connection points and fill up with water.
Don't use these hollow plastic floats, instead buy solid foam, cork, or wood bobbers.
I would like an answer from a employee of bass pro or someone who knows what they are talking about.
why havent they come out with a bobber that resembles a stick or small branch or even a pinecone or something
it would blend in with the surrounding

Because most real sticks and branches float and you can just use one of those instead - I have done that before. Next time when you get to your favorite fishing spot just look around on the ground and pick one out, loop your line around it at the desired height and you're good to go. When you're done fishing for the day just throw the stick back on the ground where you found it.
