Anderson Manufacturing/Aero Precision ~ AM-15 ~ 6.5 Grendel

Available for sale is an AR-15 rifle chambered in 6.5 Grendel—a high-velocity cartridge designed in the early 2000s to be more effective than 5.56 NATO at ranges beyond 600m in the AR-platform. The rifle is built off of a standard mil-spec Anderson Manufacturing completed rifle lower receiver and paired with a completed Aero Precision 18" 6.5 Grendel M4E1 upper. The 18" barrel is made of stainless steel for extended barrel longevity and features a 1:8 twist rate. It has a medium-weight contour for a balance between portability and accuracy and a rifle-length gas system for a smooth shooting experience. The muzzle wears a standard A2 flash hider. The M4E1 enhanced upper receiver has a reinforced construction and is T-marked along the upper rail. The Anderson lower receiver has a mil-spec single-stage trigger and non-ambidextrous safety selector installed and is equipped with a checkered A2 pistol grip. The lower also wears a standard collapsing M4 buttstock with checkered butt surface. This rifle appears to be in lightly-used condition and the barrel is in very good shape, with no rust or pitting. This AM-15 does not include a case or box and will come with one 30-round Palmetto State Armory aluminum magazine—this magazine will only hold about 25 rounds of 6.5 Grendel, however, due to the larger diameter of the casing.
