Thompson Center ~ Super-14 ~ .35 Remington

The Thompson Center Super 14 Contender is a well-known top-break, single-shot pistol long recognized for its accuracy and flexibility in shooting different calibers with a simple switch in barrels. Production began in 1967 and ended in 2000 with many, many variations. Our example, has a 14-inch-long .35 REM barrel; and walnut target grips and forearm. This Thompson Center Super 14 is also equipped with an external manual firing pin selector that allows the shooter to switch from centerfire to rimfire ammunition. The selector also acts as a safety when positioned to the center. The barrel is easily swapped out for other Contender barrels chambered in various calibers. The Thompson Center Arms Super 14 Contender shown here is in good condition with some handling marks, mainly scratches and dents to the wood as seen in the pictures.
