New! Winchester Model 70 Safari Express Bolt-Action Rifle - Cape Buffalo Edition

A Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's exclusive!

The Winchester® Model 70® Safari Express Bolt-Action Rifle - Cape Buffalo Edition is an exclusive, limited-edition model of the legendary M70 that you'll only find here. It's the first in a series of special limited-edition models available in different chamberings for kudu, sable, warthog, and more. Like the original Model 70, this unique version features a free-floating barrel with recessed target crown and a forged steel receiver with double integral recoil lugs that is bedded front and rear to eliminate shifts in zero for exceptional accuracy. It features the proven pre-'64 controlled-round feed system with claw extractor and blade-type ejector for positive case ejection and reliable cycling in every condition. The claw extractor grabs hold of the cartridge's rim shortly after it leaves the magazine and guides it to the chamber, preventing jams caused by double feeding during adrenaline-charged encounters with dangerous game. This Cape Buffalo model features one-piece bottom metal with a cape buffalo scene engraved on the steel floorplate as well as Grade II French walnut furniture with cut checkering and a deluxe cheekpiece for proper scope alignment. Plus, the silhouette of Africa on the grip cap gives this Winchester rifle a one-of-a-kind look. Express-style, fully adjustable rear sight with hooded brass bead front sight gets you on target quickly. Pachmayr® Decelerator recoil pad. Exclusive series is limited to just 250 units per model.
