The FN USA FN SCAR® 17S NRCH Semi-Auto Rifle is upgraded with a highly-desired non-reciprocating charging handle. These dual-charging handles allow the shooter to manipulate the SCAR in any shooting position without interfering with the cycling function of the bolt. The SCAR features a monolithic upper receiver with a full-length Picatinny rail for any desired accessories. A folding stock stows easily and is multi-position for length-of-pull adjustability. This combat-proven, piston-driven system is a light-recoiling machine that anyone would be proud to own. The barrel is cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined, free floating, and topped off with a recoil compensator. An enlarged trigger guard, ambidextrous safety, and ambidextrous mag release continue to add to the ease-of-use found in this SCAR rifle.
