The Benelli Montefeltro® Silver is a highly functional and ultra reliable Semi-Auto Shotgun combined with elegant lines and refined artwork. The Montefeltro Silver features a beautifully figured, AA-grade, oil finished walnut stock, and an engraved nickel-plated alloy receiver. The slim, trim, and lightweight design makes the Montefeltro an ideal shotgun for upland game hunting, or any shooting sport that involves a lot of walking, or the need for a fast handling, fast shooting semi-automatic shotgun. At the heart of the Montefeltro is Benelli's ultra-reliable Inertia Driven™ operating system that cycles both 2-3/4" field loads and 3" magnums interchangeably without adjustments. The recoil operated Inertia Driven System is the epitome of simplicity, with just 3 main parts: the bolt body, an inertia spring, and a rotating bolt head. This super simple design does not use gas to cycle the action, so smoke and burnt powder residue do not enter the gun's mechanism, allowing it to remain cleaner than a gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun. The smaller mass of parts in the action, and no heavy gas operating components housed inside the forend, make the Montefeltro an extremely lightweight, fast handling upland bird gun made to shoulder in an instant and point naturally. Though the Montefeltro is lightweight, the rotating bolt head features steel locking lugs that lock into the steel barrel extension creating a steel-to-steel lock that becomes even tighter during firing. The Benelli Montefeltro is known to withstand hundreds of thousands of rounds with no failures, and is famous as an ultra-reliable semi-auto shotgun for high volume shooting sports. The Montefeltro Siver Semi-Auto Shotgun uses Crio® System barrels and choke tubes which creates an even-grained, slick surface resulting in less resistance against wads and shot for uniform shot patterns and cleaner barrels. A lightweight, low profile ventilated rib, with a red bar front sight and mid bead, provides for quick target acquisition. Comes with 5 Crio screw-in choke tubes, and a hard case.
