The Trijicon® AccuPoint® Rifle Scope displays a vivid, self-illuminating dot in the center of the reticle for precision shot placement in any light—day or night. The reticle is illuminated by ambient light with an array fiber optics; and at night, tritium automatically takes over to power the reticle. The greatest advantage of the AccuPoint's illumination system is the lack of batteries, which eliminates the possibility of failure due to dead batteries. Removing the battery housing and associated parts also produces a substantially lighter scope, with no buttons to push, and nothing to turn off and on. The Trijicon AccuPoint Rifle Scope uses premium glass and glass coatings to provide a clear, bright view of target and surroundings. The scope tube is machined from 6061 T6 aluminum, and hard-coat anodized. Tubes are O-ring sealed and nitrogen purged for waterproof and fog-proof protection.
