Simple install, Great FitJust finished putting this on my WASR-10 and I love it. Better look & feel than the original wood. It holds the cleaning kit perfectly, which some replacement stocks don't have a place for. The instructions that came with it were clear and concise.
This was the first time I had installed new parts on a gun (other than sights) and I was impressed at how this stock went on. If you are handy at all and have a few basic shop tools (vice and flathead screwdriver are necessary) then you can remove the old stock and put this one on in a half hour. The wedge system used in this stock seems quite forgiving for all the loose tolerances AKs have.
One note--removing the old stock will require the vice and more force than you might be used to using on a firearm. If you can't stomach that, have a professional put it on your gun for you.
Thanks for you question! These AK stocks are designed for stamped receivers with a single rear tang and are not compatible with milled (the only exception is the Century C39 V2 since its milled receiver mimics the dimensions of the stamped.)
