Platinum Series Rotary Brass Tumbler gets brass cases incredibly clean by penetrating inside cases and into primer pockets using stainless steel pins in a liquid bath. The large 7-liter capacity drum holds up to 1,000 pieces of .223 brass. A molded-in rubber lining protects brass and dampens noise during operation. The tumbler has a built-in timer that can be set to run from 0 to 3 hours, shutting off automatically. The drum features clear end caps to allow visibility to the brass while tumbling, and a set of sifting end caps is also included to assist in separating the stainless media once tumbling is complete. The tumbler can also effectively clean cases without stainless media pins by using a mixture of Frankford Brass Cleaning Solution and water, though for reloading cases with heavily caked-on powder residue stainless media is best. Media Transfer Magnet makes separating stainless steel media pins from brass cases fast and convenient. The magnet gathers pins, separating them from brass cases, and then releases the pins with a pull of the handle. Wet/Dry Media Separator removes both wet and dry tumbling media from brass cases. A perforated sifter, with 2 handles and a rugged rubber latch, allows media to fall through into tub, while retaining cleaned brass. The sifter is housed inside a spill-proof, polymer tub that captures water, dry media, and stainless steel pins. The bottom tub has mesh strainers to prevent losing stainless steel pins when draining water, and the tub top also includes a mesh strainer to rinse brass of leftover cleaning solution. Just turn the handle(s) on the Frankford Arsenal Wet/Dry Media Separator and the strainer basket turns, leaving the brass in the basket while the media drops into the tub. Brass Cleaning Packs come conveniently prepackaged and measured for cleaning 500 pieces of brass. Toss an InstaClean packet into your rotary tumbler and the crystallized formula will dissolve in water. Kit includes 24 cleaning packs.
