Rated 5 out of 5 by STIHL from Excellent Protection When using a wood stove in your tent , make the move and get the roof protector , it,s cheaper than a new tent, make sure your stove pipe is a safe height about the stove ring to help avoid sparks dropping on the roof and use a chimney cap with spark arrester for added safety, this cover will help a lot and not hard to set up , put it on the roof before you set up the tent, it,s a lot easier.

Thank you for choosing Bass Pro Shops. Step 1 During set up of the actual tent – the roof protector needs to be attached to the metal ring on the top peak of the tent as shown below. Step 2 The buckles need to be attached next before the big actual tent is erected and set up. Step 3 Then the roof protector just drapes down over the side of the tent. The hole goes over the smoke stack coming thru the tent roof and the edges of the roof protector are held along the edge of the tent with the grommet on the webbing tab coming off the roof protector to the tip of the sidewall tent pole. The tent pole guy out lines then go over the pole tip anchoring the roof protector to the roof.
