The Springfield Armory® Model 2020 Redline is an incredibly lightweight package that's perfect for backcountry and high-altitude hunts. The heart of the Redline is its carbon fiber barrel. Carbon fiber is prized for its combination of light weight, rigidity, better barrel harmonics, and enhanced heat dissipation compared to traditional barrels. The Redline's carbon fiber barrel helps keep the weight to just 6 lbs. Also adding to the weight reduction is the Grayboe Trekker stock, which provides superior toughness without excess weight. The Redline comes standard with a premium TriggerTech™ adjustable trigger that can be set between 2.5–5 lbs. The barrel is threaded and comes topped with SA's own radial-port brake for superior recoil mitigation. The stainless steel action features a Cerakote® finish for the ultimate in corrosion resistance
