Good condition. Bore is bright and shiny, and the bolt action runs smooth. Stock has some slight handling wear. Including the toe of the stock being repaired, and some light varnish wear around the recoil pad and butt of the stock. Firearm has freckling / surface rust throughout - sparse freckling on the receiver, while the barrel, rear sight, scope rings, and safety have moderate to heavy freckling. This Remington Model 700 BDL was manufactured in Jan. of 1981, via Remington's barrel date code "BB". Featuring a 22" barrel, drilled & tapped receiver, jeweled bolt, internal magazine well with a hinged floor plate, bladed front sight and rear elevation sight, manual safety, sling studs, and has a checkered walnut stock with a basket weave Pachmayr recoil pad. Comes with the preinstalled Leupold Vari-X II 2x7 Scope mounted with quick detach rings.
