This dangerous game rifle comes with an integral muzzle brake to tame the thundering recoil of the .460 Weatherby Magnum cartridge. It's also adorned with hand skip checkering, a gold trigger and gold sling studs as well as a jeweled follower. This beautiful bolt action rifle has a 9-lug bolt and was made in West Germany by J.P. Sauer & Sohn, established in year 1751---probably the second oldest gun maker in the world.  The overall condition of this masterpiece, which has all matching serial numbers, is 99+% with gorgeous select high gloss AA French walnut, mother-of-pearl inlays on the stock and a factory original correct recoil pad.  There is a gold elephant on the hand engraved floor plate, and an elephant inlaid on the stock. It has the correct, original adjustable sights and an attached, off-set, Weatherby Imperial 2.75 inch x 90mm dangerous game spotting scope set upon a Paul Jaeger mount. The bore is bright and glossy and the factory original bluing is brilliant. This is the finest example of a highly desirable piece for the serious Weatherby collector or dangerous game hunter.
