Description
This Springfield Armory U.S. Model 1903 Mark 1 is a right-hand bolt-action U.S. Military rifle in .30-06 Springfield. It has a 24-inch barrel. A blade front sight and an adjustable tangent rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth grip hardwood straight grip with a storage compartment that includes spare bolt parts. The forearm is a smooth grip two-piece hardwood with finger grooves. Serial Number 1061927 (1919). Barrel is arsenal stamped and dated 7-19. The M1903 Mark I variant was made between 1918 and 1920. They were modified with an ejection port on the left side of the receiver for specific use with the Pedersen device.
