Q&A
A 4x zoom range gives the Zeiss® Conquest® V4 Rifle Scope versatility for hunting a variety of game species in a wide range of habitats, most notably at long range, as well as recreational long-range shooting. Second focal plane reticles allow you to compensate for bullet drop or wind drift, using any of the hash-marked, ZMOA or ZBR reticle designs. All V4 model feature 30mm main tubes, and the 4-16x44 and 6-24x50 models have external elevation turrets, using Zeiss' Ballistic Stop feature to ensure a positive return to zero after using the turret for a long-range shot. Elevation and windage turrets in all models adjust in .25 MOA clicks. The Zeiss Conquest V4 Rifle Scope uses high definition glass, enhanced with T* lens coatings, and LotuTec® protective coating to provide bright sharp images for precise shot placement.

Very satisfiedMounted the 6-24x50 illuminated on a Ruger precision in 6.5 creedmore. The gun and scope loved each other at first sight! Quality of scope is great in my opinion. The low light capability of this scope honestly impressed me the first time I went out at dusk to that it out. Obviously, the lower the magnification with low light, the better it was. Very clear and crisp sight picture at all ranges. Honestly will be buying more for other rifles. I shopped around and put this scope side by side with a night force and Swarovski. For comparison of equal magnification range and price points...night force was kicked to the curb early. Sight picture just wasn't to par with the other 2. I ended up with the Zeiss by slim margin over the Swarovski due to my opinion of a very very slightly better clarity, and personal feel of adjustments

Great glass at this Price rangeInitial thoughts are very positive. Scope feels like quality, great fit and finish. Glass is quite impressive in this price range both in low light and general clarity. Turrets feel solid, good clicks. Zero stop is like hitting a brick wall. Really digging that zero stop. Hope to remember to update as I shoot with it and make sure it tracks well.
Glad to be able to get into a Japanese built scope in this price range.

Outstanding ScopesMy first experience with Zeiss was with the HD5 line which is married to my Tikka T3X. Impressed by the clarity and function I decided to move to a more typical 30mm tube and try one of the new Conquest V4 scopes with the 6-24 50mm #93 illuminated ZMOA reticle. These scopes are a value, I guess that's what happens when you move some machinery and labor to Japan with a German design. Completely sold by Zeiss's V4 scopes, I now have FOUR of them (all 6-24 50mm #93 illuminated) and they are great. I do wish Zeiss would accessorize them a little more with a sunshade and flip covers. I have my scopes married to .308 win rifles for distance and tactical applications, they are precise and built extremely well. Recommend over Vortex or Sig Optics for sure.

Not very thought outI got this scope as a birthday gift, since Zeiss didn’t include an Allen wrench for the ballistic torrent and their site don’t even explain the function I,m taking it back to exchange. Only giving one star since it was a gift. This is a scope that hopefully snipers are trained on. Too aggravating for the average hunter.. good luck Zeiss. Count me OUT.

Great scope and worth the money!Fantastic scope. Put it both on an AR-15 chambered in .223 for a ranch gun to take on the 4-wheeler when doing rounds, then on a 7mm-08 Rem 700 for bear season. On both guns the scope sights in very easily. Bore sighted, then was sighten in within three rounds on both guns. Scope tracks amazingly through the adjustments when sighting and when using the turret and returns to zero perfectly. Banged it around on the ranch, then put it through a tough NW Montana bear hunt in the mountains and it is still holding its zero and have not had any problems.

Fantastic new offering by ZeissI have really enjoyed this scope. The clarity and light transmission is unparalleled for this price range.
The ZQAR Reticle is great. The 2nd focal plane positioning makes sure that the reticle stays consistent no matter the magnification setting. It also has a build in bullet drop compensator that, with the correct rounds allows for pretty close approximation of impact out to 600 meters. Also, the ZQAR reticle offers illumination. But its illumination is not obnoxious. What I mean is that the illumination is almost understated. It is illuminated only to the point of making sure the shooter can properly position the reticle, without the illuminated reticle overpowering the eye and blocking out the intended target.
Similarly, the construction of the scope is great. The scope is light and rather compact. The elevation and windage adjustments are tactically crisp and exact with no “mushiness“ between clicks at all. One of the nicest features is the zero-stop, or what Zeiss calls, the Ballistic Stop. Setting the ‘stop’ is very easy and is metal on metal. There are no plastic pieces that can be stressed, or broken, by an minor over exertion of a quick elevation change.
There’s only one thing I would like addressed, and that is the plastic screw that holds the elevation turret down. If one is not careful, the screw could break.
Otherwise, this is a fantastic scope for a great price.
Does all Zeiss Conquest 2496367
have the cross heirs?
Asked by: t4013s
Thanks for your question. All models of the Zeiss Conquest V4 have reticles; the style of reticle is listed for each model. The model you provided, 2496367, comes with a ZMOA-1 reticle. According to Zeiss, this is a MOA-based ballistic reticle with 1 MOA distance between the hold lines: "The reticle can therefore be used to correct the bullet drop and the wind drift, as well as to estimate the range provided the defined magnifications have been set. This makes it ideal for long-rate shots at changing distances."
