Finesse fishing usually requires a total downsizing of your jigging presentation. But for a tough bite when you're specifically targeting big fish, switching to a Z-Man® Weedless Power Finesse ShroomZ™ Jighead can be a great compromise. It allows you to significantly lighten your jig weight without going to a smaller softbait, so you can slow the fall and deliver subtle action while still offering a substantial meal. This Power Finesse version of Z-Man's proven ShroomZ head features a dual-strand weedguard to help eliminate hangups during your retrieve. Good but not great Ned Rig set upOk so I had heard so much about the NED rig and I figured on a high pressure lake with Blue Bird sky I would give it a try. The hook is great for the Big TRD bait but a little long on the smaller TRD baits. Also the two wire weed guard gets mangled after a couple fish catches. I had just as many rock hang ups as the one without the weed guard. I suggest using the regular TRD finesse hook.

Could use some improvementThis product works pretty decent. The hook is very durable and stays pretty sharp. But after three or four fish, the wiring frays out. Fish stop biting so well once they feel the wire poking all over the place. I would recommend switching the weed less system to a single, thick, wire.
The baitholder function on the shank of the hook works well too when coupled with other stick bait sections aside from "z man" finesse stick baits.
It's designed to be fished with the 4" Big TRD but it can be used with other baits as well. Typically, this hook is rigged with the bait threaded on the shank of the hook so that the hook is open. Because it has weed guards, there's not need to Texas rig it.
