Best new lure!I live in Iowa and have been reading about the Ned rig for a long time. This year I decided to give it a try. I pick up a pack of the 1/10 ounce weed less jigs and paired them with the TRD plastic in green pumpkin. Right now it is April but it has been an unusually cold year and water temps haven’t made it to 50 consistently yet. I have tried most of my go to cold water lures and the only thing that has caught bass are these lures. After 2 outings and only getting bites on these I am a believer! I read a lot of reviews on fishing gear so when I find something that works I want to spread the news.

Z-man Finesse Shroomz HooksThese hooks are JUNK. They are constantly breaking. I would suggest buying the mold and making your own.

SchroomZ Weedless works great!I used the SchroomZ Weedless Jighead with the Deal color TRD when I noticed a big sunken snag with lots of fish around it on my locator. I didn't have crappie jigs along and thought the Ned Rig might be too large for crappies, especially with the weedless jig. But it worked well, deflecting off cover and catching crappies of different sizes.

Bad HooksThe hooks on this jighead are too brittle !
I had a couple of them break, one when I had a
fish on !
What is the over all size of the head and hook. Hoping to use to jig for bluegill and redear sunfish. Is this a good match?

The hook is a size #2 except on the 1/5 and 1/6oz which is a size 1. The Finesse ShroomZ will work great for all panfish and is a very popular jig hook for those species.
