Great so far. Hot Fall day. Cool mountain night.I did a little bit of research on line before buying. I thought I had it narrowed down before hand, but went to the Bass Pro Shop because they seemed to have the biggest variety in stock. I went with these because they are breathable and I do very little fishing in colder weather, although Colorado Mountain rivers are always cold. The sales person was knowledgeable and they did have a huge variety of types and sizes. Up to 5X in the older version of these waders. The XL fit fine over shorts and a T-shirt. I’m 6 foot tall 250 pounds. I went with the XXL because it gave me a little extra room in the belly. If want to wear both fleece pants and fleece jacket underneath, there is room to spare. There is a drawstring at the top, as well as the belt around the waist. There are guards made of the same material at the bottom of the legs, before the neoprene booties, that slide down over the outside of your boots, with a small hook that hooks on to the bottom lace to keep them in place. This should keep out rocks and gravel. There is also a front pocket and an interior pocket for a fly box etc. if you don’t feel like wearing a vest as well. The knees and seat are also reinforced. They performed much better that my neoprene waders I’ve had in the past. I didn’t have the sweat on my legs I’m used to in hot days with the neoprene. I’d probably go the neoprene route if I were using waders for duck hunting or fishing into the winter months. For straight up fly fishing in cool mountain streams, these are the way to go.

Great wader for the price.I purchased these waders in January while they were on sale. I have used them at least a half a dozen times and the only complaint I have is that they aren't quite as breathable as I would like. They can get fairly hot on a 70° day if your not waist deep in water. Other than that, I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Poor replacement for original Osprey waderI had the earlier version of the Osprey wader which lasted me three seasons of heavy use. No so with this new version. After two outings I discovered that there are slight leaks in the left leg and the fabric seems to weep moisture through. Also the sizing has changed dramatically. In the old version a 2xl was room for me. In the new version a 3xl stout is tight around my middle.

Wet in basspro waders from
Poor replacement of the original OspreyI’m not sure why the original osprey got replaced but this version is very poor. My original worked well for several seasons and thought I don’t expect much out of a wader less than $200 I would at the very least expect it not to just fall apart. The buckles on these are less quality and do not hold they will come disconnect constantly. The belt loops are just stickers and when wet will fall off. They leak right from the get go so if being wet and cold is your thing then this is the wader for you. Poor. Very poor.

Too good to be trueIn the store these seem like really high quality waders; especially for the price. Thick material, extra reinforcements in high-wear areas, awesome pocket, etc.....
Should have listened to the negative reviews on other White River Fly Shop waders because on my second trip out both feet started leaking really bad.
I would not recommend these waders.

These waders are not based on shoe size as the stocking foot will stretch to fit many sizes. Please refer to the sizing chart for the correct fit.
