Float Tube ReviewMy tube was bought at the OKC Bass Pro location less than a week ago. I used it out on the lake for the first time yesterday. I absolutely loved it. I had plenty of storage room for the items/gear that I wanted to bring with me (which I originally thought was a lot). The only problem I had with my tube, was that I kept slipping forward in the seat. Other then having to constantly scoot myself back up into the seat, I didn't have any other problems with my tube. I am already looking forward to taking it out again very soon!

A lotta boat for the buck!!you can pay a lot more money but you won't get a lot more boat. i have cammo version. its light, the shell is solid material, the bladders fit well, the valves are the kind i like, simple, well made and you can top off inflate by mouth if you get into coooold water. get the little 12v pump that both inflates and deflates at the car or truck, or motorcycle!, and u are set. if you are worried about stabilitu, don't b. i'm 6'3 and about 265. dead stabil and more comfortable than your recliner at home. seriously u will b shocked.. plenty of storage, u can fish alll day so bring something to eat and a drink.. casting is no problem, plenty of height out of the water. not the fastest boat on the lake but get the big turbo type fins and you can putter around all day while exercising your legs. advise the simplest breathe able fabric waders, for an in the water experience you'll go back for time after time. soooo much better than fishing from shore and if you know where your fish are, taking the truck or car close then an easy walk is better than screwing round with the loading and unloading of a boat then driving miles down the lake to get where you want to go. and sooooomuch cheaper:) this is one of the best bass pro products i've seen.
How do you keep from sliding out of the float. I kept sliding forward and when I tried to push my self back in it caused water to flow into the waders I had on causing me to slide even further out.

i want to use for duck hunting do you sit in it with waders and are you secure enough not to fall out and get hypothermia
Asked by: butcher 27516
Hi, waders, while not necessary, would be an essential port of your gear when float tube fishing. They are great for protecting you from hypothermia.
Thank you

Is the bar removaable?

When going from near sea level to 8000'-9000' elevation, do you need to deflate the air bladders?
Asked by: psiLBC
Inflation Air Pressure: A float tube bladder should be inflated enough to make the wrinkles in the cover material disappear, no more. When inflated to 2.5 psi, the tube is very firm, not rock hard. Try to not over inflate your tube. This shortens it's life by stretching the stitching, or maybe you could even burst a seam.
Don't leave a full float tube in the vehicle in summer sunshine. The heat will cause the air inside the tube air bladder to expand and thereby over inflate your tube, possibly damaging it. In this situation let some air out so the tube is only partially inflated, squishy and wobbly. No harm can come from expansion due to heat then.

Thank you for your inquiry!
You should be able to attach a stringer or fish basket (Not Included) to this tube if you want to keep fish.

Can I use it on the river? Will the rocks on the bottom
puncture holes or is it durable enough to take it ?
Asked by: Socrates123
Hi, most float tubes are not ideal for river fishing. Float tubes aren’t built to battle strong river currents. So, using them for river fishing can be dangerous. You’ll need to use caution, and fish a safe stretch of river where the current is weak. Plus, if you’re wearing flippers and waders you’ll have a hard time moving if you tumble over. There have been rare cases of fishermen in float tubes getting turned upside down in rivers and drowning.
Thank you
