The PPS M2 is a striker-fired pistol with a short smooth trigger pull and quick reset. The steel slide has a Tenifer™ matte black coating that resists corrosion, and front and rear cocking serrations facilitate racking the slide for loading and clearing the weapon. The frame is constructed of tough polymer with a non-slip textured grip surface. The magazine release is easily reached with the shooter's thumb. The 3-dot low-profile sights are quick to acquire in a variety of lighting, while interring minimally when drawing the pistol from a holster or purse. The rear sight is adjustable for windage.
