The Vortex® Viper® PST GEN II Rifle Scope in 1-6x24mm offers quick target acquisition at close range on low power, with the ability to zoom up and use the hash-marked reticle for engaging targets at longer ranges. The illuminated reticle provides precise shot placement in low-light conditions. Reticles are matched to turrets in either MRAD or MOA to facilitate accurate shooting at long range. The Viper PST in 1-6x24 uses a second focal plane reticle that maintains the same size through out the entire zoom range. Extra-low dispersion (XD™) glass increases resolution and color fidelity, resulting in crisp, sharp images, while fully multi-coated XR™ anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces maximize light transmission. Exterior lenses feature Vortex's ultra hard ArmorTek® coating to protect against scratches, oil and dirt. A 1-piece, 30mm main tube constructed of aircraft-grade aluminum results in strength and rigidity, and a highly durable hard anodized low-glare matte finish aids in longevity and concealment. The Viper PST GEN II Rifle Scope is O-ring sealed, and argon gas-purged for 100 percent waterproof/fog proof dependability. Covered by VIP Unconditional Lifetime Warranty.

VMR-2 MOA Reticle accommodates shooters who are accustomed to using inches and fractions of inches in calculating elevation and windage compensation. Works well for shooting at known distances.

VMR-2 MRAD Reticle accommodates shooters who are familiar with military range estimations. MRAD uses one standard adjustment of one-tenth. Base-10 math simplifies calculating elevation and windage compensation at unknown ranges.
