Get hooked !!!These are simply great hooks !! Recently, on the NC Coast, I caught a 4 ft. Brown Shark, off a pier, using these #5 VMC circle hooks. I like pier fishing - and using cut bait to catch Red Drum - or whatever bites.
I look forward to using these hooks in frehwater, for big catfish. I know that they can handle it !! Good luck !!

perfect for atlantic sailfishThis is by far the best hook for trolling ballhoo made . It is not intended for 50 pound line or heavy drag.If it is used as designed with 20 to 30 pound line with 5 to 6 pounds of drag your hook and catch rate will go up ..

Worst hook VMC ever ProducedThis just could be made of a hanger wire steel. Very weak. Unable to handle 50lbs of ande line. It stretch and I quit before i will get hurt. Made it very extra wide after stretching the hook
