Vanguard Endeavor Ed II Binoculars
Vanguard® Endeavor Ed II Binoculars use premium HOYA ED (Extra-low Dispersion) fully coated glass that enhances light transmission and gives you superb edge-to-edge clarity and color fidelity. The magnesium alloy body, and open-bridge design reduces overall weight, and provides a steady hold. Vanguard uses a non-reflective black rubber armor to cover the exterior of the Endeavor Ed II, that provides a leather like texture that improves grip in all weather conditions. Metal eyepiece housings and eyecups twist up and down smoothly, and are devoid of free play, while improving the binos durability. Rubber covered eyecups and generous eye relief accommodate users with eyeglasses. A metal focus wheel with an aggressive gear ratio brings targets into focus quickly. Vanguard Endeavor Ed II Binoculars are nitrogen purged to prevent fogging and are waterproof and shockproof.

Awesome Glass!This is by far the best set of binoculars I've ever had. I don't like to spend a lot on binos or other optics because I only use them a couple times of year so when I found these reasonably priced, I jumped on it! Not only are they a great value but they FAR out-preform their competitors. The class is so clear it makes the woods look HD when I'm in the deer stand. They fit my face wonderfully, are light to pack and don't fog up as soon as I bring them to my face in -20F temps! I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a high quality, affordable new set of binos!

excellent valueHaving looked through a number of binos before purchasing these, some up to double the price, I didn't find any with a better image or more rugged construction. For the money, I'm very pleased.

DefectiveOut of the box they had a visible black speck on the right side when looking through them. I tried cleaning the lenses and it didn't come off. Of course Cabelas customer service was awesome and took them back. Otherwise the clarity was good and the design seems to be rugged and worth the money. I went with a higher end replacement and am very happy.
