Vanguard® Endeavor Ed Binoculars use Extra Low Dispersion Glass (ED Glass) fully multi-coated glass that enhances light transmission to give you bright images, especially in low-light conditions when game movment is at its peak. Vanguard coats the Endeavor Ed binoculars with a non-reflective tactile rubber armoring that improves the user's grip in all weather conditions, and dampens noise that could spook game if the binos knock against a gunstock, rock, or metal watch. Modern ergonomics with an open-bridge design allow hunters to glass comfortably for extended periods of time. Rubber coated twist-up eyecups and generous eye relief accommodate users wearing eyeglasses. A large, 33mm, metal focusing wheel is easy to reach and operate, even with gloved hands; and an aggressive gear ratio brings targets into focus quickly. Rated 1 out of 5 by MikeWesternHunter from Not What You're Looking For Got these last year. I have been using glass to hunt western terrain for 20+ years. At first the optics seem clean. However, in low light they lose definition quickly and annoy me with the need for constant focus adjustment. Both eyepieces come off repeatedly as well as losing end caps that should be glued on. In short, they are junk. I would look for a more reputable company to buy from if you care about your glass.

Eye cups turn out and stop in different lengths to please even an eye glass wearer. They are very solid and the glass is above what some others are selling at twice the price. I like the locking Diopter adjustment. Well worth the money and a $50 mail in rebate makes these affordable to a'lot of folks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cbmiro from Best purchase ever! I saw these on sale and read the raving reviews. I purchased for deer hunting and I don't know how many deer I haven't seen in my hunting life. These are terrific. I can see well into the night even all night on a full moon. Great for sports and wildlife. I especially like the locking feature for the focus on one side. These are very clear, great glass. I wish I would have made this purchase many years ago. I paired these with the cabelas hybrid harness and it is an essential part of my hunting bag.

The main thing to note is that the focus knob is only 2/3 turn compared to the standard 1.5 revolutions. This means that a very slight movement of the focus knob results in a large focus adjustment. This was the deal breaker for me and I returned them. It was essentially impossible to use the focus knob to finely tune to a clear enough picture to give me confidence in glassing for bedded mulies. If you want to be able to focus very quickly then these would be great. Another downfall is The "sweet spot" is small so images to the edges of the viewing area are not as crisp as some of the other optics in this price range. The final thing to note is that the field of view is average, not terrible but for the money it could be better. The construction seems to be very solid and I can see why others have reviewed these optics higher. However, after buying a different pair in a similar price range I would warn you that there are better optics out there for the money.
