No IssuesI purchased the 9mm - 100 round package. Off to the practice range & did not experience any issues at all in my SA XDS. Not the best range ammo BUT certainly not the worst. Good practice range ammo & would purchase again.

MaxxTech Brass Case AmmoOver the weekend I shot about 400 Rounds of 40S&W MaxxTech Brass Ammo with out a single FTF or FTE. The ammo was cleanly packaged and with out Residue on the rounds. Shiny and bright as one person put it.
Shooting it was a dream Not much fouling after the range day. Pretty much what I expected from shooting 400+/- Rounds in a day.
I would buy it again.
for the record I was shooting a Sig Sauer P320FS Generation 1

Dirty, Problematic AmmoI should have known once I loaded the magazines and noticed that while most bullets were tapered, I had a couple that were more of a solid roundness to them. Quality control is definitely lacking in this factory.
I recently used this ammunition on a brand new S&W M&P 9mm to test fire. I was able to get ~10-12 rounds down range before the slide got stuck on the firearm and was unable to retract.
I then fired the ammo on my Glock 19 Gen 4. Although I was able to get some good groupings with the ammo, it is EXTREMELY dirty ammo.
I figured it was brass cased ammo and inexpensive, but definitely not worth purchasing again.
I now have (4) new boxes I am stuck with.
Definitely stay away from this ammo and spend a couple bucks more for a good, reputable brand.

Not GreatI bought 200 rounds of this in 9mm and found that I spent a fair amount of time clearing jams and dealing with duds.

Not bad for the moneyI have put over 100 rounds of both 9mm and 380 downrange and not experienced a single issue. They are not the cleanest ammo around so they provide incentive to clean your weapon after a day at the range.

9mm and 380 acpThis is the worst ammo i have ever had. Both 9 mm and 380 acp would not cycle my hand guns. Stove pipes and no ejection at all. Do not buy this ammo waste of money, time and gas. The guns i was using taurus pt99, and the taurus g-2 9mm and the ruger lcp 380. I would rate this ammo less than 1 star

Good, Bad, & UglyThe Pistol Range Supervisor at our location introduced this ammunition as "a new product for the store" and "an exceptional value". I was there to take the 'new' off a recently delivered .45 ACP, and an extra 100 rounds for under $20 sounded like a good range day.
The Good: This ammo was inexpensive and available in abundance at the store with a variety of caliber to pick from. The plastic packaging is unique in that it is compact and would stack easily for storage.
The Bad: FTF & FTE galore. There were 2-3 problem rounds in every magazine (all factory new Mec-Gar). 3 rounds had a raised ridge where the bullet meets the brass, which caused FTF and the one that made it up the ramp lodged and caused a slide malfunction. Also, of the ones that fired, accuracy was all over the target with 'flyers' in every direction and very few center. I cast fault on the new pistol and my own human error at first, but the 100 rounds of another brand shot right behind these functioned flawless and all landed in the 10-ring at 15 yards.
The Ugly: Dirty to an extreme. Black powder coated the barrel and slide, and larger chunks of power were spit out of the pistol with every shot that fired. Add to that enough smoke to make any Spaghetti Western director proud.
To end on a positive, at least I was able to see how my new firearm performed when hot, very dirty, and a little beaten up.
