Best float on Market 10 inch amd 12 inchBought four of these two 10's and two 12's, the 10" for trolling and the 12" for hanging big live bait and they hold a nice sinker weight up to 1.5 ounces not including the bait weight also they are quite when the float hits the water not lime some floats that mame a big splash, highly recommend these thill floats and such a great price.

Poor constructionI Purchased this about a month ago and I was anxious to use them. When I got ready for fishing trip and begin to Thread this slip bobber on, the line went into the top but I could not get it to exit the bottom of the slip bobber. After trying one for about five minutes I opened up the second package and try that one and the same issue. So I grabbed one of the older ones that I had purchased from Bass Pro which was the orange yellow black and white and the line went through the first time perfectly. There’s something about the way the Thill slip bobbers are manufactured that the line will not exit this tube unless it’s perfectly straight which is almost impossible, unfortunately I’ll be returning these.

durable, dependable.I have used every float on the market. I fish for all types of fish. Catfish is my main target. These floats are the best. They're very well made, great for long casting.
They really hold up to some abuse. Other brands I use, the weights fall off, the line doesn't slide through causing it to tangle in mid cast and they just don't last.
For catfishing in lakes I use a 9" to 12" weighted float with a 1/4 oz egg sinker. Depending on size of bait I'm using.
These will be the only floats I buy till they make one better!
