Easy InstallProduct was easy to install and works as advertised. like the solid base plate. looking forward to seeing how it works in a tactile shooting course. would give 5 stars but not to impressed with the screws that came with it.

Shot shell holderJunk tighten it an mossberge won't cycle an they will if you loosening it but then you can wiggle it would not buy this

Says it fits the Remington 870 but it doesn'tThis product will not fit your Remington 870. You will need to buy the tacstar 4 shell holder instead...save your time and $

Fits with ModsWell built solid product. This products fits a mossberg 88 perfectly. Follow instructions and its an easy install. All the allen wrenches needed for install are included.
If installed on a 500 flex, about 2 inches will have to be cut off of the rear of fore grip to clear the bracket and shell holder. I used a chop saw with a wood blade and it left a factory finish after light sanding....can't even tell I trimmed it.

perfect for three gunI bought this side saddle for my new H n R pardner pump tactical shotgun which for those who don't know is a Remington 870 clone . I had to cut the forend to accommodate the saddle . it holds the shells perfectly , puts them where I need them for three gun competition .

Not made for weapon specifiedI purchased this to give me some extra options for home defense with my Mossberg 500.
The installation was quite easy. But when I went to rack a round into the chamber, the slide wouldn't go all the way back, allowing one to load. The holder itself blocks the slide from being fully retracted.
If there were a way to mount the holder without the baseplate, this may solve the problem, but until then, I'll be returning this today, and taking a hard look at the ATI side saddle mount...

Which model will work with Remington's 870 shotgun? I see 2 reviews that say it works with the 870 model but when selecting it to buy it does not show 870 as a supported shotgun.
