I had a week this spring where I caught a bass 6lbs or bigger 6 nights in a row! Biggest 3 were 8.7, 8.3, and 7.9! I just wish they made a 5/8 or 3/4 ounce variety to slow roll deeper water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jig4Bass from Antidote to the Pure Poison I think Strike King has set a new standard for blade jigs with the Rage Blade. The weighed head keeps the blade straight up and in position for a wobble that won't quit, unlike some blades that stop intermittently. I have the 3/8oz chartreuse sexy with a hook that is 4/0 and a little shorter than most chatts. A 5" Fat Albert grub is just the right size for the curly tail to flap in full view beyond the skirt. I like to put the whole combination in a bag of Powerbait overnight to eliminate the chemical smell from the skirt. Bass hold on like they were snacking on a Powerworm. Would like to try the Naked Blade to work with a PowerShad or Keitech 4.3" swimbait. I never found the Pure Poison chatt very effective. Something about the large head caused it to hang too much. Rage Blade is the antidote.

I normally use it around rip rap, and heavy cover like stumps and logs. it will cast easy, and flat out catch fish! When the spinnerbait bite is on, and they're just not hitting it, throw on a rage blade.I like to pair mine with a four-inch grub, it adds great action

With a whole new design to the mouse trap style lure, Strike King really nailed it with this one. Detaching the weight from the hook and molding it into the blade,dropping it below the whole rig has changed my style of bladed swim jig presentation. I use this lure when fishing in heavy pressure areas. With the same approach every time. I start at the top and work my way down. On splash down I like to run it just under the surface for some incredible top water "buzzbait" style fishing. Nicknamed My "Boulder Rover" for a reason I'm usually driving this thing into the rocks trying to stir up some aggressive fish...with MUCH success! this thing is not a lawn mower though... so keep it out of the grass! But run it on the outside of some weed beds for some good predatory strikes. Deep Water, Yo-Yo it ! This Rage Blade has Been one of my Go to lures this year, Tipped with a 3 1/2 inch Zoom Swimmin' Fluke Jr. and I'm like BOOM Get over here Fish!!

At $6.99 on sale that adds up quickly. Love the idea and all the videos say you can now 'run 'em into stumps and logs' and the lead weight at the bottom will keep them from hanging up. Well, that's not my experience. In open water or grassy water I do like the action and reaction I get from the fish. It will catch fish! I use them with a Zoom Super Fluke trailer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Smb1224 from Great item Bought the blue/black 3/8th ounce for summer bass fishing, the first time out, I caught 6 lg. mouth including a 22.5 " 7 lb. fish, second time out, almost the same result, 5 fish in an hour or so, with a 20.25" 5 lb. fish. Something about the large head clanking as it moves through the water must drive them nuts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by bobbylang from I'm sorry I fish almost always, 2 and 4 lb. test lines ultra-lite! I'd love to see a"Strike King" Rage Blade in a much smaller weight and size!! Otherwise it looks mighty fine, great innovative blade but in a small size (for me) I'd like some fur or feathers!! Maybe a Mickey Finn, or a Fire-Tiger, or a "B/N Dace"!!

Now it is my "go to" bait. jerk it through the nastiest cover, swim it in open water, finesse it, whatever your want. I use it as a search bait to cover area quickly and fish will try to destroy it.
