Q&A
This 8-sided beast takes the concept of the soft jerkbait to another level. Like a faceted bead vs. a round bead, the Strike KingĀ® KVD Perfect Plastics Ocho's smooth beveled sides reflect light in different directions, creating a flash effect unlike that of any other softbait. Bass respond readily! Precision molded of supersoft plastic, with a slow sink rate, the versatile Ocho is ideal for jerkbaiting and wacky rigging. All KVD Perfect Plastics lures feature soft, salt impregnated plastic and an exclusive coffee scent that masks human scents and oils to produce more and longer bites.

Excellent ProductI'm rating this after catching 2x 3lb largemouths and more .5-1.5lb largemouths than I can count. I am beyond happy with this worm after using Yum, Zoom, and Big Bite Bait brands. My friends swear by Gary Yamamoto but I feel this is on par with Gary Yamamoto quality!

It worksI bought a couple packs of these a few weeks ago in different colors to try them out. Just got back from fishing in Pennsylvania and caught a handful of 2+ pounders when using these. Used on a wacky rig. The action was great and black/flue fleck and junebug seemed to be the most effective color wise. Only disadvantage is that if you fish it Texas rigged it rips very easily. Wacky rig with an O ring and it should last a few fish.

Day saversHad never fished stick worms like this before and had a buddy who constantly told me to try them. Had a few bucks left on a giftcard so I burned it on a pack of these. The 5 inchers in Junebug. Had probably used two at a local lake that doesn't produce a whole lot of fish and didn't think much of em. Fast forward to this week when I went on a trip to Toledo Bend, post flooding. First day we couldn't catch more than a couple fish. Second day. Water was terribly murky, we had 30 mph winds and couldn't cross the main lake. Stayed in the cove our cabin was on. Had a hunch to throw the Ochos, texas rigged after we tried a bit of everything again. Sure enough, within a couple casts we caught a 4 pounder. Kept fishing and my girlfriend hooked what was easily a double digit bass that spit the hook when it jumped into the air right next to the boat. We lit em up on these for a day and a half til we had to go home. We REAALLY had to be careful with them though cause they are a very soft plastic. One fish and they nearly bust in half. Other than that, I am hooked. I'm back to order more in every color. I will definitely keep these in my boat and bring a lot on my next trip to the bend!

Made a believerUsed them on several outings , was catching fish on them then ran out of them and went to yum dingers , but then it seems like the fish quit biting , so i was looking around and saw one hanging off of my grandaughters rod , which she had quit fishing for the day , so i asked if i could use it and she said yes. well guess what the fishing started to bite again ! And same thing happened before with the wife running out i was catching fish and she was about to cry because i was doing so good , so i said here take my worm , but she would not , so i had some strike king coffee sented tubes , so she asked how do i fish them , i said the same as your worm really and she caught two huge smallmouth on it ! So yes they do work ! ! Plus I just ordered 36 bags of ochos .

Best senko'sI originally got these in worms in the candy craw color which unfortunately is no longer available but the amistad special works almost just as well. It seem like bass can't help but eat this bait. When I know I have fish near me and they won't commit to biting anything else even my other worms I know I'll at least get some nibble when I throw on the strike King ocho. These worms have amazing action so much wiggle with minimal effort but the draw back there is that the bait years a quarter inch after pretty much every bite but I find that a small price to pay when it comes to the best worms I've ever used. Load up on these baby's you'll wanna fish these very time your on the water.

Weed BedsI find these Ochos to be effective when fishing off shore ( 8 to 10 ft) weed beds. Rigged weedless they can be used in the submerged weeds.

catches fish but not durableThese worms will catch fish but they will not last. They are not durable at all. KVD puts out some great stuff but unless you got KVD's money, they will be a pain to keep them in your tackle. They are very soft and almost feel like a real worm when wet. I suspect that's why they catch fish, very nice action texas rigged, wacky or drop shot, etc. But like I said, you'll go through a pack of these quicker than any other worm on the market. You will catch fish, but you will spend the money to do so.

Always catches bassI fish freshwater in MN and WI, this Ocho is my favorite soft bait to catch bass in any lake. My go to color is baby bass, but the other colors work well too.
I'm going to try it anyway, but has anybody had success dressing a Strike King Slither Rig or Swim Jig (or football jig for that matter) with an Ocho?

No, I have not tired that before but you would be able to without issues. Good Luck and Happy Fishing!
Thank You!

I fish in louisiana and mostly in murky water. What is the best color to use in murky water?
Asked by: dominic2
Thank you for your inquiry. For fishing in murky water, bright colors are better for visibility. For example: Bubble Gum, Glacier, Ghost Minnow and Baby Bass would be great colors for muddy or murky waters.

the best way to fish
I live on the Tennessee river. The water is by far merky most of the time. Do you think a man could catch fish in murky water on the Ocho and which way is the best way to rig them.
Asked by: Wildbillbassman55
the best way to rig the ocho is wacky rigged. they dont perform as well in merky water
