Awesome Smallie and Largie baitAfter trying out the bitsy tube in Pearl Pepper/white for Caught and Released bedding Smallies and cruising Largies, I'm sold!. I used 3/16-1/4oz weighted wacky jigheads that I made from Do-it Wacky molds that have a small wire hook which makes it easier to hook Bass. With those weights it's easier for the bass to attack it since it's a smaller profile of tube and bass have a hard time not getting hooked with shorter tentacles when they try to remove it from the bass bed, REMEMBER: Shorter tentacles, Better hook sets. Plus, 3/16oz Do-it wacky jighead skips better then the Do-it wacky 1/4oz.

SK BitsyThis was recommended from some friends. I was have some trouble during the hot days of summer and needed to change up my tactics. I purchased 5 different colors and have not been disappointed. I purchased some jig heads and ran them inside the tube. The bass love the action from these tubes! I can slow swim or jig in the water.
This is definitely a "Go To" lure when times get tough for me.

Best stream smallmouth lure everEvery trophy sized smallmouth bass I've ever caught has been on this lure. I pair it with a bass pro 1/8 oz tube head and the action is ridiculous. It has resulted in many days of 200+ fish. Fished on a st croix avid medium light 7 foot rod paired with a shimano stradic 1000 series makes it even better because of the sensitivity of the rod and drag capabilities of the reel. Absolutely the best purchase you will ever make if you're on the hunt for big smallmouth bass or numbers of fish.

Top twoMy tackle box is getting smaller all the time. The bitsy tube is a sure fire. I catch fish with these when no one else could catch them with a $100 lure.

Sometimes Smaller is Better!Another case when you need to downsize your presentation and 3, 4 or 5 inches of any plastic is too much. These are great finesse baits and when used with 6lb mono or fluoro they just flutter nice and pretty depending on how you have it rigged. A winner in my book and another one I always keep in my box.
what size lead head should i use for this? 1/8 or 1/16
Asked by: basstass
I use both I use the 1/8 when the water is to fast for 1/16. If your lure is drifting past the spot you want then try a larger one. hope this helps

weedless rig in river?
Love these bitsy tubes but I fish in a small river with lots of logs in the water and on the banks. I am struggling with rigging this weedless and don't know what hook size to use. Thoughts are appreciated.

Texas Rig it with or without the weight. If you're worried about hanging up due to the hook, make sure you bury it deep enough into the tube. A smaller EWG or worm hook should do the trick.

is this 2-3/4" long? If not, I am interested in buying the strike king bitsy tube that appears to be only about 1-1/2 - 1-3/4" long.
I believe these are available in stores in a quantity of 25 per pack. I need these asap. Thanks, Art
