Nice LuresLures are realistic and have nice sturdy sharp hooks. Only wish they had the smaller size in stock.

Nice LureHaven't had a chance to use them much, but I know these will work great in Lake Erie where the gobies are everywhere on the bass beds.

Needs better tailUsed these at Lake Erie over the last 2 weeks. Had good success catching smallies but the goby kept loosing its tail. I lost the tails on 2 gobies without catching a fish.
Needs more material in the tail to strengthen it.

Bagleys, BurkleyI would not tell a friend of the Goby because it is someone that I would be competing against , and they are all great fisherman , and I would not do it until the event is over . I tell everyone that I do not compete against what to buy and how to use it so that they will have a great time and buy more.
I fished with Steve Clapper and others at the great lakes . I had to hand pour my own to get them at first .Anyone fishing would not ask , but all the people that want to have a good time and catch a lot of fish I tell . Looking at people that you help after they come home and see the smile on their face is what it is all about . Kids catch a 5lb smallmouth never forget the help .

GoodI always either get a hit or a catch with this lure but it is not durable. I hooked a gator gar and it ripped. It also is not always good at keeping the fish on and landing it.

This lure looks similar to a sculpin found in mountain streams, anyone try it for rainbow/brown trout?
Asked by: katman111
This will work for RB/browns. Storm (Rapala) also makes Wildeye Live Sculpins which should work much better for you. Hard to find but look on Rapala website. Worst problem with these baits is oversized hooks; 1/8 oz. size 4, 1/4 oz. size 1/0. Another (and less expensive) choice that should work well for you is Jewel Baits Sculpin Hypertail bodies that you can rig yourself with an appropriate jig. Bass pro sells these in 2 lengths & two colors. These may easily be colored with Sharpies to match your type of sculpin.

Will it produce everywhere?
This bait was designed to imitate a goby found in the great lakes and northern waters. Has anyone had any succes fishing with it down south or out west? Im currently in Arizona with ultra clear water.
