great lure for trollingthe lure is amazing but slight problem with the plastic centre i caught a fish to big for the lure and it snapped the lure in half i thinks its a great lure used them well but just be careful of what fish you go for

Great lure... for 30 minutesWhen I took the lure out of the package it looked like storm didn't spend much time on the details of this thing, but the real test is in the water. Over the next 30 minutes or so I found out that the fish don't mind the small flaws in thing thing as I caught 5 or so fish real quick. The problem is, on the 31st minute, the lead weight that is molded under a THIN layer of rubber had broken loose and came off the lure. This took all the action out of the lure and rendered it useless. I'm not bummed about losing the money on this lure, I'm just bummed at the quality and the fact that I had done nothing to this lure to have it break like this other then catch some bass. I hope they all aren't like this because I bought 3 of the 4" and 2 or the 6". Only 1 way to find out.

Good, Not Quite GreatI bought one (6") on a whim, trying to catch some bigger pike. Although I had plenty of hits, not many stayed on long enough to land. It got pretty beat up and the weight ended up falling out. My casts became shorter, and it didn't run as deep, which was actually beneficial to stay out of the weeds (in the shallow water I normally fish) and most importantly it did not affect the swim at all.
The lure works great, swims great, pike love it, just hard getting a good hook set. I did manage to catch and get to shore a very hungry ~20lbs carp, which unfortunately came unhooked and swam away as we were landing it.
I'm definitely picking up another one (or two).

huh..I couldnt find a good title. So I named it after the first thing that came to mind after I threw my first cast. I caught two fish.. thats it. Two fish in 10 casts. Thats all I could get out of it though. It was torn apart after two small bass. They need to give you a pack of 10 for this to be worth it.

Great lure for me first time usedI opened the 6 " Shad color and, on my 7th toss of the morning, got a 38 inch musky to follow and eventually hit the bait while doing a figure 8. The lure has a great weight to be cast with 40lbs braid on a windy day and the action is fantastic. It looked as good in the 8s as on a straight retrieve. The bill does catch some cabbage but that is where this fish was. I The bait was undamaged following my catch although like all soft baits, might have a shorter lifespan. I am buying a few other colors.

great striper lureevery summer big stripers will corner huge schools of herring where two cement walls meet at a 90 degree angle. where they wait to pick off an easy target of a weak herring slowly sinking to the bottom. this lure has a slow sink under the school where it is easy for the bass to see. it perfectly imitates a dying baitfish if you jerk the bait gently it flashes a little, this really seals the deal for the stripers and they will devour it. i recommend gizzard shad color

How deep does the Storm double jointed 6" and the 10" dive when trolled?

Unfortunately the manufacturer does not have depth charts available for this lure. There are many, many variables to this; Speed, line diameter, line type, reel size, rod type, etc. Since 1990 the folks at Precision Trolling have confirmed & published Diving Depths of crankbaits and other trolling gear using scuba tactics. You might visit their Facebook page to purchase their recently released App, a book or stickers to help with their trolling trolling needs.
