Storm Arashi Cover Pop
From the first cast, you'll notice that the Storm® Arashi® Cover Pop topwater bait is different. It's definitely a surface chugger, but the combination of its aerodynamic body and weighted tail send it flying further downrange, only to quietly land tail-first with very little water disturbance. That, you'll find, will come as soon as you start your retrieve. Rather than coming toward you in a straight line, the Arashi Cover Pop moves laterally most of the time – so you can give it more time in key ambush spots. Its Rotated Hook Hangers keep the VMC® black nickel hooks close to the body, so you can work this lure tight to cover. And all the while, its deeply cupped face creates a huge commotion on the surface, like a frantic frog or baitfish in serious trouble. 3D holographic eyes present an inviting target…and the flash feather teaser tail adds extra movement just below the surface film. Big bass, big blowups!

Awesome Popper! This popper has quickly became my absolute go to and favorite! You can slowly walk it and it will stay in one place allowing you to tease the bass. The bait sits almost vertical in the water which has brought me a ton of strikes. Highly recommend picking one up.... or six!

Looks nice, but...This popper is very difficult to work effectively. The placement of the line causes the bait to move too erratically, making it difficult to control, especially with braid. There are much better poppers that achieve the same marketed features, such as the KVD Splash.

Fun versatile popperI've been having a lot of fun the last couple days with this popper. It has the ability to be popped out you can easily walk the dog with it. I like to throw it into an are where I think a bass will be and walk the dog which keeps it in that area longer. The other thing I've found effective is giving it a pop, then walking it for a couple feet, then letting it rest and repeating. It's easy to cast with nice big hooks and draws fish from a distance.
