Q&A
The Wedge Plus Spinnerbait by Stanley Jigs® offers more vibration and flash than any other spinnerbait out there. Patented Wedge Blade technology puts out a loud, ear-splitting clatter that's like a dinner bell to big bass. Complete with vibrashaft stainless wire, super smooth ball bearing swivels, realistic scale head with eyes and live action silicone skirt.
"With my patented Wedge Blade, you'll reel and feel this lure all the way back to the boat--if it makes it that far!" Lonnie Stanley

Long standing producerThe double willow works excellent in & around all types of weeds & grass & works really well for fast retrieve in spring & early summer. There are days when you have to stand behind a tree to tie one on~!

Great SpinnerbaitThis is one of very few brands left that have a 1/8 oz. model. Very important where I fish because the baitfish are on the small side in the Ohio River. This is a smallmouth slayer in 1/8 and 3/8 oz. I really like the compactness of the 1/8 oz. model.

Not like the old onesNot like the old ones, was kinda disappointed in the vibration for night fishing, was OK but lacking what the ones 10 years ago had, still weedless and that was a plus.

spinner baitI received this a few weeks ago and got to use it this weekend. I was able to catch 4 bass with it and had several more strikes. It has great movement and was exciting to get the strikes with it.

$1.50I have used the "Stanley Vibrashaft" since the 1970s and almost all of my biggest fish have been caught on the double willow leaf chartruse and white.
I like to buzz them across early spring weed beds just like KVD did in the tournament he won in Michigan.
They also catch a lot of fish slow rolling them on shallow flats on overcast low light conditions and spawning fish in shallow water and on laydowns.
I also always rig it with a chartruse 4" twister tail.

Great SpinnerbaitThere is something about this Spinnerbait that fish hit it more often. I caught over 50 bass in 5 days with this bait. The fish were mostly small, but I did get a 3, 4, and even a 5 pounder. The lure is completely beat up now. It has lost paint, the skirt is missing a few lines, and the lure was bent completely straight on the last couple of fish. So now the form is pretty bad. I noticed that as the lure gets beat up, you lose more fish. This is not because of the sharpness of the hook. I sharpen mine every few fish to be safe. It is because the metal became so weak from being bent so many times, that when the fish hit it the hook doesn't set as well. This is because the bait is no longer stiff and gives with the bite. So you have to be careful with that and set the hook yourself once the bait has been beaten up. Or just buy more. I'm here to buy 10 more of these. :)

stanley jigsthis jig has been a great bass lure but after you catch one bass the jig is just about done for. blades fall off too easily and a big bass just straightens the whole wire.
