Q&A
One of the most exciting soft plastic baits out there, the Stanley Jigs® Ribbit™ Frog produces heart-stopping moments on the water. Its patented-design legs and feet give the lure a realistic kicking action when worked in stop-n-go fashion across the surface, resulting in explosive strikes. A proven topwater bait for big bass, the Ribbit Frog is especially effective when buzzed in open water, or rigged weedless and fished over logs, grass beds, or lily pads. Unrigged.

Rolls OccasionallyFished this against a Zoom H Toad on the same lake with the same combo. Both have good action, but the Ribbit tends to land upside down and roll over a little more. Used an Owner Beast 4/0 hook for both.

Great frogI've been looking for a go to frog and this one takes the cake. I was on lady bird lake in Austin TX having some luck but once I threw the ribbit frog on my line I didn't cast more then twice in-between catches. The bass were just flying out of the water at the frogs. The only adjustment I had to make was to set the hooks higher out of the frogs back because the lure is pretty rugged and it was hard at first for the hooks to set properly. After letting the hooks stick out more it was basically one after another.

Top quality froggingUsed all sorts of frogs but Stanley still holds true. If you like frogs and don't mind paying a few bucks more these ones produce fish. Make sure you buy their frog hooks you won't be disappointed unless a pike cuts your rig off. $$$$
Remember these baits are tough and hold up, if they rip buy a small torch lighter are the gas station and weld them back together.

Favorite topwater baitThis is an awesome bait. I would totally recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good frog bait. You throw it out there, reel it in while the tip of your rod is high, and let the legs flutter across the water. If a fish strikes it give it slack by putting your rod tip down, say your name 3 times, and then set the hook hard. I like watermelon red, black, and black red flake. Good luck fishin!

Stanley Ribbit = AwesomeLarge mouth bass can't refuse to eat this frog! I will not use any other topwater frog unless i completely run out of these. They are durable, provide a ton of action, and catch fish like no other bait! Pick up a pack, or two, maybe even three, because bass flat out destroy these things!

VersatileI used the Bull Ribbit last year. Great surface lure or weedless.
Found the Bull a bit large. The regular Ribbit should be better.
Thank you for choosing Bass Pro Shops. There is a quantity of 5 per pack.

DO THIS FROGS WORK WELL AT NIGHT AND WHAT COLORS.
I FISH WHERE THIERS LOTS AND I MEAN LOTS HYDRILA AND GRASS
Asked by: loco28
Each fishing location will be different, even each trip to the same area might have different results so there isn’t really a “Best” color to use when fishing. One color may work better one time but not as well the next time you fish. So, when selecting a lure color take a look at your surrounds (landscape and wildlife) to determine the color of lure to use. If the water is dark and murky (or stained) use bright and/or fluorescent colors that can draw the fish’s attention to the lure. If the water is clear, look around if the area and use colors which blend with the surrounds. If the area is rocky use a brown, tan, or a similar color. If there is grass and weeds then use more of the green colors. Each location will be different so try a good range of colors. Thank you for your question.

how do u rig it with a ribbit double hook ? what be best color fish at night ?
thanks you may God bless u
Asked by: loco28
Get the double hook with the coil on the eye of the hook then thread the hooks through the bottom and out the top. The package will show you how to do it also. I found if you let the hooks come out of the back more then what the package says to do you get a much better set
