Springfield Marine Spring-Lock™ Posts, Bases, and Seat Mount allows you to create your own Hi-Lo unit. Interchanges with standard 1.77" posts and bases.

Posts require a seat mount to attach to a boat seat and a base to attach to the floor.

It gives me the additional leg room I was seeking and makes operating my foot controlled trolling motor more comfortable. My only complaint is that it has a tendency to rotate in the post sleeve. Therefore, my offset may not be to the front of the deck, but off to one side or the rear. I wish the post and sleeve were keyed to prevent this rotation.

The only complaint I have is that I need an extension for the post. The seat is too short and needs to be about 10 inches higher. If not for that i would give 5 stars

I have a 02 Ranger that uses this type seat posts. Will I still have to add a base to use the offset post?

Will the seat mount fit the base just fine without a post? Have a small john boat, just looking for a stable seat for my benches without extra height
