Springfield Explorer PedestalThe bushing in my old seat mount was wore out and finding a bushing of that size is impossible. With this product from Cabelas I couldn't go wrong, plus I got the one that sits higher and now I can see where Im going.
The price is right and it looks good sitting in my old boat, not to mention I can lock the seat or I can turn it with ease...beats the old one hands down.
when fishn tournaments I need all my stuff to work, Cabelas meets my needs.

Right Product for the Project!I purchased the Explorer Quad-Action swivel base as part of a refitting project on a 14-foot near shore craft for saltwater fishing. Product delivery was very fast. This swivel base is a high quality product, well made and easy to install. I had no trouble matching it to my helmsman's seat and the boat deck. It is sturdy and the locking swivel is excellent for stability while underway. This was not my fist purchase from Bass Pro, and it won't be my last....Good company, good service, good products.

I bought a boat with a Springfield seat base but am unsure if I have the 12" or the 15" model. How do you measure the height of the pedestal? From the base to where the seat mounts to determine height?
