The next generation of tactical rifles, the Springfield Armory® Saint™ Semi-Auto Rifle achieves a higher level of uncompromising reliability, accuracy and overall performance. The aluminum, free-float handguard enhances accuracy, while providing attachment points for tactical accessories with M-LOK slots and a continuous Picatinny rail interface with the flat-top, railed, upper receiver. The Picatinny rail comes with an elevation-adjustable, flip-up front sight, and a dual aperture, flip-up rear sight; sights can be used as they are, or folded down, or utilized to co-witness with optic sights. The 16" chromoly-vanadium, Melonite-finished barrel, chambered in 5.56 NATO/.223 Rem., features 1:8" rate-of-twist rifling for consistent accuracy with a wide variety of bullet weights. A direct-impingement, mid-length gas system ensures maximum reliability. A proprietary micro-polished, nickel-boron-coated, GI-style trigger group provides a crisp, clean, and consistent trigger pull. The Saint Semi-Auto Rifle comes with a Bravo Company, 6-position buttstock and a Bravo Company Mod 3 pistol grip. The type-III, hard-anodized, corrosion-resistant, 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receiver maximize strength while remaining lightweight. A forward assist and a M4 feed ramp enhance reliability. Additional features include: a carbine "H" heavy tungsten buffer, a Magpul PMAG magazine, a birdcage flash suppressor, and a soft rifle case.
