Where Can I Get A hunting License?

Most jurisdictions in the United States require a hunting license from the state where the hunt occurs and compliance with that state's fish and game rules and regulations. Hunting licenses can often be purchased at hunting and fishing retailers in that state, such as sporting goods stores, or through the state's conservation department website. Click on the map below for more information regarding the licensing and hunting regulations of the state you are interested in. And remember, if you're hunting on a national wildlife refuge, some refuges require their own permits and/or user fees. Call the refuge's main office for more information.
