Smith's Dual Grit Combination Sharpening Stone
Smith's® Dual Grit Combination Sharpening Stone features synthetic abrasive material construction for premium-caliber performance you'd find on a diamond sharpener or natural bench stone sharpener, at an unprecedented value. The extra-coarse side (100 grit) delivers aggressive removal of metal and will sharpen a dull or damaged blade surprisingly quickly. The other side (240 grit) offers less aggressive removal of metal and works wonders for sharpening somewhat dull blades that just need a quick touchup, or for smoothing the cutting edge after sharpening on the extra-coarse side. The Smith's Dual Grit Combination Sharpening Stone makes an excellent solution for pocket knives, sport knives, tactical knives, or other cutting tools.

It's alright.Received this as a christmas gift, worked alright until it dished. Tried to flatten it like I would a natural stone and that just clogged the pores and ended up glazing it.

Excellent productBought this stone and sharpened my wife very dull kitchen knives, a chef's knife and a couple of hunting knives. On those is poor condition the coarse side quickly reshaped the edge. The finer side finished the edge to where is would shave my arm. With a little honing the blades were extremely sharp. For $10 you cannot go wrong.
Thank you for choosing Bass Pro Shops. This sharpening stone is a dry stone.
