The 3 stones come mounted on a durable, polymer, rotational stand that allows you to go from one abrasive surface to the next with a turn of a knob. The coarse, diamond stone sets a new cutting edge quickly on dull or damaged blades. The fine diamond stone hones an already set edge, and is great for general purpose sharpening. The natural Arkansas stone takes the burr off a sharpened edge, and polishes it to razor sharpness. The stand is labeled for easy stone identification; and an integral trough on the bottom of the stand catches excess honing solution.
