My go to mountI am running out of room for shoulder mount heads and have switched to skull mounts. This product works for bleached skulls and plastic replicas well. I mostly saw the racks off in the field and bolt them on a plastic head at home. Transport of heads home to the taxidermist in California is tough now because of CWD. If I have a taxidermist where I am hunting handle the job a skull mount is an easier shipping job. This product displays these mounts beautifully and mounts with ease. I highly recommend the skull hooker.

great mountI have two of these and plan to buy more. this is very well made, and I like being able to adjust the angle. I do put a small zip tie around the hook and through the sinus passages of the skull to make sure it won't fall off if bumped. if you do it right you can't see the zip tie at all. just makes it more solid on the hook.

best euro mount bracket on the marketstrong ,lite weight, good looking , adjust to any configuration needed. best bracket for the money .have several and happy with all .mounts in minutes.

Nice productI honestly had my doubts about the design to hold the deer head, but I’m glad I purchased this. I only wish they had more base plate designs such as state outlines, arrow heads, etc. Works perfect and looks great next to the fireplace!

Great Trophy mountI bought this specific skull hooker to hang up my brothers bull elk he shot at our family cabin, but have others at my home displaying my own trophies. I have found them very easy to use, and like the way they display your skulls and are adjustable for different mounting options. Mounting is quick and secure.

Don't waste timeMade cheaply. Poor adjustments. Wouldn't hold 5 lbs if it needed to.
Would this work for a moose skull (no lower jaw)? If so, what size would you suggest?

My wife took a management buck this year where his right side was quite a bit larger than his left side, making him right-side heavy. My question is will this mounting system hold this particular European mount upright as indicated in the picture above?

Thank you for choosing Bass Pro Shops. Per the manufacturer, the smaller skull hanger is designed specifically for smaller game (roughly a large deer sized skull and smaller).

Would this be able to hold a Kudu skull? or any other African plains animal skull?

Thank you for choosing Bass Pro Shops. The large mounting brackets (either SKU 1847614 or 1847615) are designed specifically for large to extra-large skulls including kudu, giraffe, wildebeest, oryx, and other exotic game.

Can this be used for a wild boar skull mount where you obviously need the lower jaw? If so how is it done?

Yes, of course. Glue the jaw on and you simply insert the metal bracket into the skull base as would normally do.
